Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 31, 2026

BuilderBoard Technologies LLC ("WorkOrder," "we," "us," or "our") operates the WorkOrder platform at getworkorder.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, role (agent, contractor, homeowner, property manager, or investor), and brokerage or company name where applicable.

Profile and branding data. Agents may upload a headshot, logo, accent color, DRE license number, and tagline. Contractors may provide license numbers, trade categories, and service areas.

Inspection documents. Agents may upload inspection PDF reports. These are processed by AI to extract repair items and are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure.

Payment information. We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your full card number or banking credentials. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.

Communications. We may retain records of messages sent through the platform between users.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To send transactional emails (account confirmations, lead notifications, payment receipts)
  • To send product updates and marketing communications (you may opt out at any time)
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

With contractors. When an agent submits a work order request, relevant property and job details are shared with up to 3 matched contractors.

With clients. Branded inspection reports generated through WorkOrder may be shared with homeowners, buyers, attorneys, and lenders as part of a real estate transaction.

Service providers. We share data with trusted third-party providers including Supabase (database and storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Anthropic (AI processing), and Vercel (hosting). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

Legal requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
